Calvados Pays d'Auge Millésime 1987 Pommeau de Christian Drouin –Prune and roundness This Calvados is produced using a double distillation process. It has undergone traditional aging in old Calvados barrels followed by a year of aging in barrels that previously contained Sherry. The nose, rich and round, offers notes of dried and candied fruits such as prune and morello cherry. There are also some pastry aromas. The palate is full and rich, offering soft, melted tannins.
