La Danse des Ménades - Or Vermeil boucles A pastoral and agricultural celebrationThe medallion The Dance of the Maenads is inspired by the gestures of the women called maenads who follow the god Dionysus in Greek mythology. These women are traditionally depicted dancing and singing in a trance like state oscillating between delirium and fury. The medallion depicts three maenads dancing. One of the maenads holds a small tambourine. It invites letting go and pays tribute to our wildest sides.
