Think cherries and plums, with spicy aromas like clove or cinnamon. Made with an old Piedmont technique where during fermentation the skins are submerged using a wooden grid. Further aged in concrete and wooden barrels. Sette makes beautiful wines in Nizza Monferrato, Piedmont Italy. Some vineyards are located in the DOCG of Asti, like this Barbera.
