The spoon is probably 18th century and later imported to England. The following hallmarks were stamped there: City hallmark London, master hallmark: HLHL, date letter L for 1866, tax hallmark and content hallmark. Furthermore, the spoon was later re hallmarked in the Netherlands with Z1 for 1st content silver. The spoon has a shield shaped crowning with putti around a crowned cartouche
