De bodem hier is ideaal: zand klei leisteen vulkanisch waardoor er geen kunstmatige irrigatie nodig is. Opgericht in 1961 als een coperatie, nu 125 samenwerkende, gepassioneerde wijnboeren en een dedicated wijnteam onder leiding van Pierro Boffa en oenoloog Tonino Guzzo.
