Roelof Helweg was a spoon maker, specialized in cutlery. His workshop was located in the Munnikestraat. The spoons are hallmarked with the first standard mark, Amsterdam city mark, year letter T for 1778, and the maker's mark RH. The spoons are adorned with Amsterdam style rocaille decoration.
