Roelof Helweg was a spoon maker, specializing in cutlery. His workshop was located in the Munnikestraat. The spoon is hallmarked with the first standard mark, Amsterdam city mark, year letter x for 1782 and the maker's mark RH. The spoon features Amsterdam style ornamentation. In good condition.
