1963 Print Howard Brodie Art WWII Malmedy Massacre Battle of the Bulge War Crime CW4 calidariumThis is an original 1963 halftone print of soldiers at the Malmedy Massacre during the Battle of the Bulge in Belgium. 84 American prisoners of war were executed by SS troops, and in late December of 1944, the city underwent repetitive bombing by the United States Army Air Forces, despite the fact that the city was under Allied control. Brodie wrote on the subject, "I illustrated the massacre at Malmedy from official accounts of survivors: 'The outfit
