Class II Splice for Core Dependent Rope Dock Lines Simply take a section ofRopes that are core dependent require a Class II Splice. Our on site splicing department is thoroughly trained on this unique splice. This is a pretty cool splice. It is unique in the sense that it is the only splice to be used by core dependent ropes. Because of the unique construction of these ropes, this splice was developed to give nearly 100% of the breaking strength of the rope through the splice. If you need your core dependent line spliced,
