1923 Print Henry Walthall Silent Film Actor Stage Movie Portrait Bography BBS1 XGHB8 Keywords specific to this image:"Henry Walthall" This is an original 1923 two page black and white halftone print with a full page portrait and a brief biographical sketch of stage and silent film actor, Henry B. Walthall (1878 1936). He began his career in movies in 1909 at Biograph Studios in New York with a leading role in the film "A Convict's Sacrifice" and he went on to make many films with D. W. Griffith including "The Birth of a Nation" (1915). Please see both images.
