This is an original 1893 halftone print of the ruins of Uxmal at the 1893 Chicago Worlds Fair. Edward H. Thompson, U. S. Consul to Yucatan went into the jungles of Uxmal, Labua, and Copan, and made papier mch molds of many of the tablets and ruins of the region.
