Set of Ancient Quartz Beads from Djenne, Mali pumpkin Red scapolite is the mostSet of seven ancient stone quartz beads from excavated from sites in Djenne, Mali. Mixed sizes 8 12mm in diameter x 4 5mm thick, but there could be are a few smaller and larger ones in the mix. These beads have 1 2mm bow drilled holes (see photos). Some have residue of red soil on the quartz which adds a peachy orange color to the bead.
