1907 Ad Virginia Hot Springs Homestead Diseases Cured - ORIGINAL ADVERTISING CL9 XEH8 This is an original 1932This is an original 1907 black and white print ad for the New Homestead in Virginia Hot Springs. Built in 1766 by Thomas Bullitt, the luxury resort hosted an array of United States Presidents. Around 1888, J. P. Morgan and his investors rebuilt the hotel from the ground up; however the building was destroyed in a fire in 1901, thereafter, the present Homestead hotel was erected. During World War II, Japanese diplomats were housed at the Homestead
