Littmann was a German architect who attened the Gewerbeakademie Chemnitz and the Technische Hochschule Dresden. He moved to Munich at was introduced to Friedrich Thiersch and Gabriel von Seidl. While there, he established himself as a free architect. He joined the contracting business of his father in law Jakob Heilmann, in 1891 which then turned
