The grapes are grown near Touraine in the Loire Valley of France. The wine shows the most typical style of wine one would find in Bistros across the country; Pale color, fresh acidity, bright red fruit character and a hint of noticeable but fine grained tannin. This wine would be equally at home with roasted chicken, steak frites, or a cheese plate. Just delicious.
