1904 Print Crewe Hall Staircase Portrait England Royal Architecture Joseph ARC4 XEDA3 all is order and beautyThis is an original 1904 color print featuring an image of Joseph Nash's illustration of the staircase at Crewe hall in Cheshire, England. The building was erected from 1615 1636, for Sir Randolph (Randle) Crewe and was designed (allegedly by Inigo Jones) in the Jacobean style. The estate remained in the Crewe family until 1936, when it was sold to the Duchy of Lancaster. In 2009, it was transformed into a hotel, restaurant and health club. CONDITION
